Morgan Cates received a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maine and has performed with ensembles such as the University of Maine Singers, Euphony, and the Maine Steiners. Morgan has managed and performed on concert tours of the United States, Canada, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, England, and Ireland and has performed in such renowned venues as Lincoln Center for the Arts in NYC and Ely Cathedral in England. He has shared the stage with names ranging from Kenny Rogers to Former First Lady Michelle Obama. Morgan currently lives in Boston, MA where he works for Broadway Across America, North America's leading presenter and producer of touring Broadway theater. He began performing in A Day in the Life in 2011, and after a short hiatus is thrilled to be back portraying the Cute One.

Ira Kramer is studying Music Education/Performance - Voice and Guitar with a Spanish minor at the University of Maine. Prior credits include Bangor Symphony Orchestra - La Boheme (Parpignol), Penobscot Theatre Company - Ring of Fire (Eddie), Wizard of Oz (Tin Man), Honky Tonk Angels (Guitarist), Rocky Horror Picture Show (Brad Majors), Cinderella - A New Telling of an Old Tale (Prince Charming). UMaine - 150 Years of American Song (Featured Soloist), Grease (Danny Zuke). Other credits: The Young Americans (2008-2011), Broadway Rocks Bangor (Cool Sounds Concert Series). Josh Kovach is a recent graduate of the University of Maine with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He has been playing guitar since high school and has had the pleasure of playing in many working bands across Maine. Josh has played for the University of Maine’s Jazz Ensemble for the last four years, as well as been a part of the annual University of Maine School of Performing Arts Fundraiser. Josh had his first stint in the theater in 2015 for Penobscot Theater’s Dramatic Academy in the production of The Wedding Singer and last summer performed in Rock of Ages. Josh would like to thank God, his family, and all his friends.
Drums, Percussion, Vocals
Andrew Carlson (Drums, Percussion, Vocals), a native of Austin, TX, has been a musician and Beatles fan for as long as he can remember. While proficient on several instruments, he feels most “at home” on the drum set, self taught at a young age by playing along with Beatles records. He studied percussion and sound recording at Texas State University, graduating with a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in music. Currently a stay-at-home dad, Andrew gigs regularly around Maine, playing drums and guitar with various groups. He lives in Milford with wife Lisa and two year old twins Heidi and Vance.
Phil Burns is a performer, music director and teacher from Bangor. Most recently he music directed Oliver! at Penobscot Theatre Company. Current projects include You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! at Husson University and the Bangor Rotary Club’s annual Music Off Broadway. Phil was previously on the artistic faculty at the University of Southern Maine and now teaches at Husson University. He maintains a private studio and community arts program with his wife, Tina, and children, Harry, Stella and Moriah.
